This NYSBA program is particularly well-suited for younger lawyers looking to maximize their life insurance coverage.

Who is Eligible?

This valuable protection is reserved for NYSBA members and their spouse/partners residing in the U.S., under age 65, and dependent children between 15 days and 20 years old. This coverage is not available to the general public and is contingent upon maintaining membership with the NYSBA and payment of premiums.

A few important policy features:

• An Accelerated Death Benefit is included with your life insurance. This value-added Accelerated Death Benefit allows you to request a portion of your benefit amount while still alive if you are diagnosed with a terminal illness.*
• Your premiums payments will be waived if you become totally disabled for a period of at least six months prior to turning age 60.
